36th annual Winthrop Arts Festival

The 36th annual Winthrop Arts Festival will take place on August 17, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Local artists and artisans will showcase their beautiful and unique works. This year’s festival features a variety of mediums, including painting, watercolors, drawing, prints, notecards, photography, wood, metal, and fabric arts.

Returning artists include:

• Tonya Patten (“The Moon’s Cache”)
• Ian Hanks (“Maine Treasures Art Prints”)
• Paul and Susan Boucher (“Windows to Nature”)
• Amy Durocher Photography

We also welcome new artists, including:

• Jessica Wade
• Tammy Giles (“Waterbear Arts”)
• Maureen Libby (“Stitch-Craft”)

Additionally, there will be a student table sponsored by Homestead Realty.

• PALS No-Kill Animal Shelter
• Bailey Public Library: Open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a booth at the art festival
• Winthrop Congregational Church: Church Fair featuring a Kids Table, Baked Goods, Jewelry, Dishcloths, and Second Time Around
• Winthrop Maine Historical Society: Open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Gift Shop selling 2025 Calendars
• Winthrop Community Mural Project: Learn about Winthrop’s next mural!
• Winthrop Fire Truck: Located at WMHS parking lot
